

She told us that the state of the room should not have been an issue, and that since we had been offered another room we were not eligible for a refund. We requested a refund due to the hotel not meeting general nor Covid-19 health standards. Unfortunately our experience with the manager, Kara Carlson, was exactly the opposite. He made sure to get our contact information and even checked in the next day to make sure we had been able to get in touch with the manager. He offered us another room but as we felt our health was in jeopardy at this location we politely declined. Adam who was working reception at the front desk could not have been more accommodating and kind. This would have been unacceptable regardless of the situation but considering we are in the midst of a global pandemic, we were appalled.

There was hair in the shower, toothpaste and spit on the sink and stains on the linen. Upon entering our room we immediately felt uncomfortable and unsafe as it had clearly not been cleaned since the last guests.

This could not have been further from the truth.
